induced lightning TEST system
DNB Engineering, Inc. continues proving to be a global leader in Testing and Engineering services and proud to announce our Induced Lightning test System to support MIL-STD-461G (CS117) and RTCA/DO-160G (Section 22) testing method.
DNB’s manufactured series transient generator is a two-part system. The system includes two separate generators DBTG160.1 and DBTG160.2
The DBTG160.1 can produce Current Waveform 1, Voltage Waveform 2, Voltage Waveform 4, and Current Waveform 5A at both the Internal and External 461G CS117 levels and Levels 1-4 RTCA/DO-160G. All DBTG160.1 waveforms can be produced in the multiple stroke format as well as a single event and modified multiple strokes.
Specifications (DBTG160.1):
Output: Waveforms 1-2 and 4-5, MIL-STD-461G CS117 Internal and External Levels & Levels 1-4 RTCA/DO-160G.
Output Connector: 7/16 DIN Connector
Coupling Device: Lightning Injection Core
Control Interface: 7” LCD Touchscreen Display
Input Power: 208VAC 3ø, (50A Max.)
The DBTG160.2 is capable of producing Waveform 3 (1MHz & 10MHz) and Waveform 6H at both the Internal and External 461G CS117 levels and Levels 1-4 RTCA/DO-160G. All DBTG160.2 waveforms can be generated in the multiple strokes and multiple burst format as well as a single event and modified multiple stroke and multiple bursts. Each DBTG160.2 waveform comes as a swappable module for greater generator expandability. The system includes cables and probes/cores to maintain repeatability and tune the system.
Specifications (DBTG160.2):
Output: Waveforms 3 (1MHz & 10MHz) and 6H, MIL-STD-461G CS117 Internal and External Levels & Levels 1-4 RTCA/DO-160G.
Output Connector: 7/16 DIN Connector
Coupling Device: Lightning Injection Core
Control Interface: 7” LCD Touchscreen Display
Input Power: 208VAC 3ø, (20A Max.)
