DNB Engineering, Inc. continues proving to be a global leader in Testing and Engineering services and proud to announce new designed and manufactured Induced Lightning System to support MIL-STD-461G New CS117 testing method.

The CS117 Generator is a two-part system specifically designed to cover the latest edition of MIL-STD-461G, CS117.

The system includes two separate generators CS117Gen-1 and CS117Gen-2. lightning generator_dnb

The CS117Gen-1 can produce Current Waveform 1, Voltage Waveform 2, Voltage Waveform 4, and Current  Waveform 5 at both the Internal and External 461G CS117 levels.  All CS117Gen-1 waveforms can be produced in the multiple stroke format as well as a single event and modified multiple strokes.

Output Connector: 7/16 DIN Connector

The CS117Gen-2 is capable of producing Waveform 3 (1MHz & 10MHz) and Waveform 6H at both the Internal and External 461G CS117 levels. All CS117Gen-2 waveforms can be generated in the multiple stroke and multiple burst format as well as a single event and modified multiple stroke and multiple bursts. Each CS117Gen-2 waveform comes as a swappable module for greater generator expandability.  The system includes cables and probes/cores to maintain repeatability and tune for the system.
